Rain Maker Moving Summer Sun Returning Wednesday

Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA)- We should  be getting  a break  from all the wet weather soon. The system that's been dumping record rainfall amounts on the Bay area is moving.

The good news, coming from National Weather Service Meteorologist Nicole Carlisle.  Carlisle says,"the system that's been sitting right on top of the Bay area, bringing us a bunch of rain for the last several days, is moving northeast and could bring the Carolina's heavy rain."

The low is starting to move northeast a little bit.  There is trailing boundary that remains stretched across the Florida peninsula and, that will be the focus for some additional rain fall today.

By Wednesday afternoon,  we should be looking at a more typical summertime sea breeze pattern and that should continue through the end of the week.
