Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA)-A woman walking in the center lane of southbound I-75 near mile marker 272 , was hit this morning by a semi tractor trailer.
She was airlifted to Tampa General Hospital with life threatening injuries. It happened around 3:30 this morning.
FHP has the center and inside southbound lanes closed north of Bruce B. Downs Boulevard.
