Astros-Rangers Series Moved to The Trop

The Houston Astros will play their home series against the Rangers at Tropicana Field beginning Tuesday evening through Thursday.   

The Rays are on the road this week, playing Kansas City and the Chicago White Sox.  

The Astros' President of Business Operations, Reid Ryan, says safety is the top priority for fans, players and staff.  He adds that the Astros are "extremely grateful" to the Rays for allowing the team to use the Trop.  

The Astros will be considered the home team and the first pitch is at 7:10 Tuesday and Wednesday nights and at 1:10 on Thursday.  

The Astros were set to host the Mets next.  There is a possiblity that that series will also be played at Tropicana Field.
