Tampa, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-Hillsborough County deputies have arrested a Tampa man on aggravated child abuse charges involving a very young girl.
Investigators say 21 year-old Antonio Enrique Cordero abused a four week-old girl in his care. They say the infant was brought into the emergency room at Florida Hospital with a swollen foot and a fever. During the exam, doctors found bone fractures on her legs, arms and ribs.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office Child Protection Division is assisting in the investigation. The child has been placed with a responsible adult.
