Largo, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-Two people are dead after separate pedestrian accidents in the Tampa Bay area.  Both of the deaths occurred on the very same day.

Largo police say 34 year-old Vilayphone Sinnavong was hit by a vehicle as she was walking in the roadway on U.S. 19, near the East Bay Drive overpass.  Officers say the woman was hard to see because she was wrapped in a dark colored garbage bag.  Investigators say the woman had mental health issues.

Lakeland police say 53 year-old Jeffrey T. Wells was struck and killed by a pickup truck while trying to walk across Harden Boulevard, near Forrest Park Street.  Officers say Wells was not in a crosswalk when he was hit.

No charges have been filed in either case.  The investigations continue.
