Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA) - A small fire forced evacuations in a Carrollwood nursing home early Monday. Hillsborough County Fire Rescue said that an alarm went off at the Carrollwood Care Nursing Home on Hutchinson Rd. at about 4 a.m.
Firefighters arrived to find a fire in the kitchen already out, but some smoke in the hallways. They moved 18 patients to another part of the facility while they vented the building, which took about 20 minutes, according to a news release.
Neither any patients nor firefighters suffered any injuries.
