Bay Area Gas Prices Fall Again

Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA) - Gas prices have gone down again, dropping another 3.3 cents per gallon in Tampa in the past week, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com.

The website says its survey of 1,260 gas stations in Tampa shows an average price of $2.16. That's 13.5 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. 

The national average has increased 3.7 cents per gallon over the last month to stand 15.7 cents higher than a year ago. The average price statewide is $2.24, down 2.9 cents from a week ago.
