CLEARWATER (970 WFLA) -- A stormy day in Pinellas, as a waterspout wandered down the Intracoastal Waterway, and a man got struck by lightning on a golf course.
The National Weather Service in Ruskin says the waterspout was spotted between Caladesi Island and Dunedin, lasting eight minutes around 2:00 in the afternoon.
Earlier, a man golfing at Clearwater Country Club got struck by lightning. Fire rescue say Frank Sink, 76, was getting out of his golf course at the seventh hole when the bolt hit him. At last report, he's in fair condition at Tampa General Hospital.
