Brooksville, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-Hernando County Sheriff's Office Deputies are looking for an escaped inmate after the man managed to walk away from a work detail.
Deputies say 35 year-old inmate Joshua Holmes was assigned to work at the Northwest Solid Waste Management Facility on North Bishop Loop. Holmes and two other inmates were working under the supervision of Hernando County landfill workers when they noticed Holmes had left the facility without authorization.
Holmes is 5'7", 145 pounds, balding, brown eyes and last seen wearing a black and white jail uniform (see photo).
