ST. PETERSBURG, FL (970 WFLA) -- A fight over directions with an Uber driver leaves a St. Petersburg man in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police say the driver, 37-year-old Kabir (ka-BEER) Diaz, argued with 56-year-old Terry Kimball Thursday night around 7:30, over directions. Diaz pulled over at a food store in the 800 block of 58th Street North, and the two men started fighting.
Police say Diaz punched Kimball and knocked him out cold, and he hasn't been conscious since.
Kimball's hospitalized with life-threatening brain trauma. Diaz hasn't been charged and is cooperating with police.
