John Reaves, who played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Florida Gators, was found dead inside his Tampa home Tuesday.
An investigation into his death is underway. Reaves was 67.
Reaves was a Bucs quarterback in 1987, and before that, for the Tampa Bay Bandits. He played football for Robinson High School in Tampa and was an All American at the University of Florida, where he later worked as an assistant coach after he retired from pro-football.
Reaves eventually became a real estate agent Tampa.
