Tampa, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-Hillsborough deputies have arrested 44 year-old Claudia Patricia Orozco and 40 year-old Marlon Ricardo Barcelo for practicing medicine without a license.
Deputies say Orozco and Barcelo operated the Orozco Medical Center on West Waters Avenue. Investigators say the two also performed surgery at the center.
Investigators started looking into the clinic a year and a half ago after getting complaints from patients after having surgery. Some of the patients had to get medical attention at local hospitals from complications as a result of surgery at the Orozco Medical Center.
Deputies say Orozco and Barcelo are not licensed doctors and are not authorized to perform surgery.
