Haines City, Fla. (970 WFLA)-The Polk County Sheriff's Office is asking for your help finding Darrell Coleman, Jr., he is a suspect in a hit and run crash that killed 66 year old Charles Hudson.
Hudson was hit July 24th around 10 am, as he was riding a bicycle westbound along Kokomo Road (AKA CR 546 East) in Haines City. He was fatally struck by a car that was also heading westbound and appeared to be weaving. The car didn't stop.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office has identified the driver as 26 yr old Darrell Lavel Coleman, Jr., of Lake Hamilton. The sheriff's office says Coleman abandoned the car off of nearby Detour Road.
Coleman was recently arrested by Lake Hamilton P.D. on June 30, for narcotics possession, and bonded out on July 1st. He is believed to be wearing a black T-shirt and blue jeans.

On the Polk Sheriff Department's Facebook page, Sheriff Grady Judge says, "Mr. Hudson, has been a volunteer PCSO Citizen's Assisted Patrol member in the Solivita community since 2014. He was a dedicated member, donating hundreds of hours of patrol service to his neighborhood, in the interest of public safety and saving taxpayers' dollars."
