Largo, Fla. (970 WFLA)- A criminal justice specialist with the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is facing charges. Largo police say 35 year old Joshua Volz allegedly hit and choked his wife during an argument at their home in Largo. She suffered minor injuries to her face and head.
Volz is charged with one count of domestic battery and domestic battery by strangulation. Volz was hired by the Pinellas Sheriff's Office in 2006.
