Sarasota, Fla. (970 WFLA)-A Sarasota man is facing animal cruelty charges after deputies discovered eight starving animals on his property.
Deputies from the Sarasota Sheriff Department's Agricultural Unit were investigating reports that two cows, belonging to 53 year old Ramon Gonzalez, appeared to be starving. They found the other animals, including two more cows,two horses, one miniature horse and a donkey without food. The eight animals were taken away for rehabilitation. Gonzalez has since bonded out of jail.
