Bradenton, Fla. (970 WFLA) - Police search for the hit-and-run driver who struck and left a bicyclist in Manatee County seriously injured Saturday night.
Tristan Todd, 20, rode eastbound on Whitfield Avenue approaching 15th Street East at about 10 p.m. when a car struck him from behind, according to a news release from the Florida Highway Patrol.
Two different witnesses told state troopers that the car was either a silver or white Ford Taurus, and that it had noticeable damage to its windshield. FHP asks anyone who can help them find the car responsible and its driver to contact Trooper Daniel Watson at 239-938-1800.
