Detectives executed a narcotics search warrant at a home on Broad St., in Brooksville. The search warrant and arrest warrants are a result of a lengthy investigation that took place at the Broad Street location.
The investigation began after the Sheriff's Office received tips of drug activity occurring at the residence.During the investigation, undercover detectives took part in narcotics transactions where 66 year-old Robert Lee Moore sold prescription medication on numerous occasions. During the execution of the search warrant on Broad Street, detectives took Moore into custody without incident. As a result of the search, detectives were able to locate prescription medication (trafficking amounts), marijuana, paraphernalia indicative of narcotic sales, several firearms, and $17,457 in cash.
Moore's charges are as follows:-Trafficking in a controlled substance (several counts) -Sale and Possession of a controlled substance (several counts) -Possession of a place for trafficking, sale and manufacturing of a controlled substance (several counts) -Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon -Possession of marijuana -Possession of drug paraphernalia
