Gibsonton, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-The FHP reports, just after 4 Saturday morning, 29 year-old Rogelio Ramirez of Lakeland was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of I-75 south of Gibsonton Drive. a semi was heading south and it's driver tried to steer away from Ramirez but the car collided with the rear passenger side trailer portion. Ramirez was heavily impaired, transported to an area hospital and is facing numerous charges. The driver of the semi was uninjured.
