Tampa, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-Tampa Police responded to the report of shots fired in the area of N. 36th St and E. Shadowlawn Avenue Friday night. Arriving on scene, they located 18 year-old Antwan Jenrette, the victim of a gunshot wound, and immediately began first aid. Tampa Fire Rescue arrived and transported Jenrette to TGH, where he died as a result of his injuries.
Tampa Police homicide detectives are actively investigating leads in this case and are asking for assistance from the community. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay.
