St. Petersburg, Fla. (970 WFLA)- Stay out of the water! St. Petersburg health officials have issued no swimming advisories at three local beaches.
The warnings come after weekly test results found high levels of fecal pollution at Northshore Beach, Maximo Beach and Lassing Park.
The city says the waters have been impacted by the runoff from are recent rains.
City health department crews test the water every week, the latest results showed the bacteria level high enough to be considered a potential health risk for swimmers. More testing will be done Monday, the results will be issued Thursday.
