MIAMI (970 WFLA) -- Governor Rick Scott has called a news conference this morning in Miami... with the president of the State Senate, Joe Negron, and the speaker of the State House, Richard Corcoran of Pasco County. Scott has their budget bill on his desk with a veto threat looming.
Scott and Corcoran have battled for months over funding for Enterprise Florida, as well as Visit Florida, the tourism agency.
This could be a sign that there's an agreement on the budget, or perhaps an agreement to call a special session for a do-over.
