Jupiter, Fla. (970 WFLA) - Golf great Tiger Woods was arrested Monday on suspicion of driving under the influence. The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office website shows that Woods was booked at 7:18 a.m. and released on his own recognizance at 10:50 a.m.
WPBF-TV reports that Woods was arrested at around 3 a.m. Monday on Military Trail just south of Indian Creek Parkway.
Woods, with 14 major golf championships, was once the game's dominant force. But several back surgeries have left him only hoping to return to competitive golf.
