Clearwater, Fla. (970 WFLA) - A crash Monday morning left an ambulance heavily damaged but no humans seriously hurt. Clearwater Police say a car ran a red light at the intersection of Drew Street and Fort Harrison Avenue at about 7 a.m. and struck the ambulance, which overturned after impact.

The Sunstar ambulance did not have a patient inside and was not responding to a call at the time, police say. No injuries were reported. Police closed the intersection as they investigated the crash and cleared the scene, but reopened it about 90 minutes later Monday morning.
