Temple Terrrace, Fla. (970 WFLA) - As many as 12 families need to find new homes after fire tore through their apartment complex early Sunday. Fire broke out at The Park at Monument Trace Apartments on Normandy Place just before 3 a.m.
Flames destroyed most of the 12 units it reached in the two hours before firefighters from the City of Temple Terrace and Hillsborough County could put out the fire.
The State Fire Marshal's office will investigate the cause. The Red Cross responded to help "several displaced families," a news release from the city said.
