ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. (970 WFLA) - An SUV crashed into a Pasco County bus on U.S. 301 Tuesday, killing the driver and injuring the bus driver.
The Florida Highway Patrol said it happened around 12:19 p.m. as a county bus was stopped along the southbound lane.
Juan Carlos Izaguirre, 38, of Dade City, died after being transported to Florida Hospital.
The bus driver, 44-year old Suzanne Marie Milza of Land O’ Lakes, was treated at the hospital for minor injuries. No passengers were hurt.
State troopers said Izaguirre was driving a Chevrolet Tahoe and rear-ended the bus.
