St. Petersburg, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-A Meadowlawn Middle School teacher has been arrested for molestation involving young girls.
Police say 41 year-old Joseph Zavalnak of Largo is facing five counts of lewd and lascivious molestation involving three victims. The victims are all girls over the age of 12, but under the age of 18.
Investigators say two of the incidents occurred at the end of 2016. Officers say that investigation led to another incident back in 2013.
Police are not providing any more details about the crimes due to the nature of the charges.
