Tampa will get the Super Bowl, again.
This time, Super Bowl 55 in 2021.
That game was supposed to be played in Los Angeles, but heavy rains there will prevent a new stadium from being completed in time. So, NFL owners have decided to move that game to Tampa and let LA host the Super Bowl the next year, in 2022.
Tampa was a finalist for the 2019 and 2020 Super Bowls, but lost to Atlanta and Miami.
Tampa hasn't hosted a Super Bowl since 2009.
