Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA)- Police are looking for the suspect who stole credit cards from a wallet, while the wallets owner was at the LA Fitness at 1510 Swann Avenue West in Tampa. The stolen credit cards were used at several stores in Tampa and Clearwater.
The suspect is a white male in his early to mid 40's.
He was seen on surveillance video at the Apple store in International Mall and the Best Buy at 1725 Dale Mabry Highway North. The fraudulent purchases have exceeded $5,000.
Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the suspect involved in these cases. Anyone with any information regarding the identity of the suspect(s) and who wants to be eligible for a cash reward is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477).
