Bradenton, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-A five alarm fire at the Callahan Tire warehouse at 44th Avenue, East, and 9th Street, East, put up a cloud of black smoke that could be seen for miles. The fire also closed roads and caused evacuations.
Bradenton and Manatee County fire crews worked together to battle the big blaze. The cause remains under investigation, but the dry conditions may have helped contribute to the fire.
No reports of any injuries, but people with respiratory troubles were asked to stay inside while the big fire burned.
