Sun City Center, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-Hillsborough County deputies say they've ended a rash of residential and vehicle burglaries with the arrest of 30 year-old Alex Loren Williams of Gibsonton.
Sheriff's detectives say Williams pulled off six vehicle burglaries and two residential burglaries of occupied homes in just one night in the Sun City Center area. Deputies say the homeowners were asleep when Williams broke into the dwellings.
Hillsborough detectives worked with deputies in Manatee County to develop leads. Those leads led to Williams. In addition to the Hillsborough County crimes, Williams is suspected of committing a number of residential and vehicle burglaries in Manatee County.
