Sarasota Man Trespasses High School Campus

Sarasota, Fla. (970 WFLA)- A Sarasota man is facing trespassing charges after he walked into the office of Riverview High School in Sarasota, where he asked to speak to the principal. 

When a staff member told him he would need to make an appointment, 31 year old Aaron Talley started to walk to the schools courtyard and into a classroom.  The school's  resource deputy stopped him and placed him in custody.

Talley admitted to planning a visit the school, because he wanted to talk about  his concerns with public education and government. 

Students were removed from the classroom during Talley's visit,  but were soon returned back to their classes.

Talley, is charged with trespassing on school grounds and disruption of a school function. He was released Monday night on $620 bond.
