Tampa, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-A man is dead after falling from the docks outside the Tampa Convention Center. Police have identified the man as 53 year-old Johnnie Norton.
Investigators say Norton was pressure washing the docks when he fell into the water and did not resurface. The Tampa Police Dive Team responded and recovered Norton. He was transported to Tampa General Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
Norton was an employee of C and W Services. C and W was contracted to pressure wash the docks.
