Carrollwood, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-A house fire on Vera Avenue has a family looking for a new place to live after flames destroyed their home.
Hillsborough Fire-Rescue spokesman Corey Dierdorff says all the family members got out of the house without injury. The family's dog was found during the fire. The pet was pronounced dead on scene.
There was heavy fire coming from the house when firefighters arrived. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
