Parents To The Rescue

Riverview, Fla.-(5/9/2017)-Number one daughter is out on her own. She is into the apartment life, but was missing some of the comforts of the old homestead and was returning to do her laundry.

Daughter's laundry chores shortly turned into Mom's chores.  Tattoo Lady had to show her how to separate colors, how much detergent to use and what cycle to use on certain clothes. It was cutting into the old lady's weekend.

Daughter and boyfriend did manage to get an apartment with a washer and dryer hookup, but no cash to get the machines to hook up. They looked at the new, modern and expensive washers and dryers. "Too expensive," they said.

How about the laundramat? Nope, "too many weird people there." How about buying used? They were not keen on using a machine someone had previously used to clean their undies.

Beggars can't be choosers. They finally went to a used appliance store and found a decent washer and dryer for $300. The only problem was that they didn't have the 300 bucks. As you would expect, Tattoo Lady put off her next ink job and plopped down the cash. Problem Solved!
