Bucs running back Doug Martin was involved in a car accident in Tampa Thursday afternoon. Tampa police say Martin was traveling east bound on Azeele Street when the driver of another car ran a stop sign at Habana and crashed into Martin's BMW. That's when police say thet BMW careened into an air conditioning unit at a local business.
Martin wasn't hurt, though he did suffer some cuts and bruises and the other driver was cited. Team GM Jason Licht says Martin was leaving the team facility when the accident occured. Licht says Martin was evaluated by team doctors and is already headed home.
