Dade City, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-The Pasco County Sheriff's Office has just wrapped-up a months-long narcotics investigation. Deputies got help from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency and local police departments in the probe.
Sheriff Chris Nocco says drugs included methamphetamine and cocaine. Fourteen pounds of meth were seized. The fourteen pounds would provide 25,000 doses for street use.
Operation Hydra also resulted in the arrests of a number of people, including illegal immigrants.
