Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA)-The City of Tampa Transportation and Stormwater Services Department have been conducting public meetings discussing improvements to Bayshore Boulevard.
Construction is expected to begin soon that will including adding Buffered Bicycle Lanes and a Traffic Calming Project.
The proposed signing and pavement markings enhancements will improve the safety and traffic flow for motorists, bicyclists, and pedestrians. The improvements include re-striping crosswalks, lowering the speed limit to 35, and adding a two foot buffer to bike lanes.
