St. Petersburg, Fla.-(Newsradio 970 WFLA)-black smoke on the water at Grandview Park as a boat catches fire offshore. One of the two people on board the boat suffered 1st and 2nd degree burns over 15 % of her body. The other boater escaped injury.
Fire Boat #11 was called to the scene and was able to get the fire out. The boat is a total loss. The cause is under investigation.
No name released yet on the woman suffering burns.
