On Saturday morning around 5:30, residents at the Glenwood Mobile Home Park noticed smoke and flames coming from one of the units. Multiple fire rescue units from Largo Fire Rescue, Pinellas Suncoast Fire Rescue and Seminole Fire Rescue responded to extinguish the fully engulfed mobile home.
Once the fire was extinguished, the body of 66-year-old Joseph Pratico was found. The origin of the fire is unknown at this time. There were three other mobile homes in the vicinity of the fire, also sustained minor to moderate heat damage.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation and does not appear to be suspicious in nature.
