CLEARWATER BEACH, Fla. (970 WFLA) - The city of Clearwater has a real life Officer Friendly, and he helped a scared six-year old girl reunite with her family.
Officer Rich Edmonds found the child crying on Clearwater Beach. She had wandered away from her family and got lost.
Edmonds offered to give her a ride back in his police car, but she was too scared.
Instead, he took her by the hand and walked her the half mile back to her relatives.
