Land O Lakes,Fla (970 WFLA)-A 3 acre brush fire in the 33 hundred block of Chauncey Road is being blamed on a home owner who was illegally burning on his property.
Pasco Fire responded with three engines, three brush trucks and three tankers. Because of the strong winds, the fire burned the properties next door, destroying one shed and damaging an empty chicken coop. No one was injured.
There was a burn ban in effect. The home owner may face civil charges once Pasco Fire finishes its investigation.
