TAMPA, Fla. (970 WFLA) - Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn delivers his annual "State of the City" address Tuesday morning.
Buckhorn will give the speech at 10 a.m. at Kiley Garden.
While the mayor opted not to run for governor, he has been outspoken about statewide issues.
In particular, Buckhorn strongly opposes Republican led efforts by state lawmakers to undermine "home rule" of city and county governments.
Buckhorn has also been critical of the Koch Brothers, who are big political donors mostly to Republicans. Buckhorn said he opposes the pushing of a pro-corporate ideology on local government.
