Sarasota, Fla. (970 WFLA)- The Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate a hit and run crash involving a pickup truck versus a man riding a bicycle on a sidewalk of Stickney Pointe Road in Sarasota on March 20.
The suspected hit and run vehicle is a 2006 Dodge 1500 Atlantic Blue in color pickup truck with after-market taillights, tinted windows and a tool chest in back truck bed.
The truck struck 32 year old Robert Palmer of Sarasota as he was riding a bicycle on the sidewalk, he suffered serious injuries and remains in serious condition at Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
