CLEARWATER, Fla. (970 WFLA) - An Odessa man is charged with driving drunk, and then vomiting all over himself.
Joshua Nathan, 20, is charged with crashing his Honda into a Chevy Silverado pickup truck near the intersection of U.S. 19 and Republic Drive.
FHP found Leyva's car at a nearby Burger King, but he was nowhere to be found.
Leyva later showed up at his parents' house in an Uber car, where state troopers were waiting for him. Troopers said Leyva vomited all over himself and the car.
Leyva stumbled out of the car and reeked of alcohol and vomit, FHP said. Initiallly, he refused a breathalyzer test, but eventually blew a .11, well over the legal limit of .07.
Leyva is charged with DUI. On his way to Jail, a trooper had to pull over the vehicle so Leyva could vomit on the side of the road. FHP said Leyva vomited again in front of the trooper as he was being brought to the Pinellas County Jail.
