St. Petersburg police responded to Faith Lutheran Church 4835 26th Avenue North just before noon Saturday. Officers found a man in his late thirties with two gunshot wounds. Investigators say, the victim was involved in a drug deal. The suspect then pulled a gun and attempted to steal drugs from the man. A struggle ensued and the victim was shot, with the suspect fleeing the scene in a green vehicle. The suspect has not been identified yet. The victim is listed in critical condition at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg Hospital.
