Pinellas County Inmate Steals Personal Information

Detectives began their investigation on March 19, when inmate, 47-year old Robert Kinzinger, conspired with his girlfriend, 56-year-old Theresa Farr, to commit fraud using a phone at the Pinellas County Jail. Kinzinger instructed Farr to retrieve a credit card number he had stored on his laptop computer. The credit card belonged to a 75-year-old man and former neighbor of Kinzinger.

Furthermore, Kinzinger instructed Farr to use the credit card number to purchase food and hygiene products for other inmates. Detectives interviewed the 75-year-old male victim, who confirmed the activity was fraudulent.  Kinzinger is currently awaiting trial for unrelated charges that include fraudulent use of a credit card, fraudulent use of personal identification information, and violation of probation.
