Who Killed Thomas Walker

Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA)-On March 11, at approximately 1:20 p.m., the victim,  38 year old Thomas Edward Walker III, was sitting at the corner of Deerfield Drive and Libby Lane in Clairmel playing chess with another man.

As Walker walked away from the game, a dark colored 4-door vehicle, possibly a Buick, was seen pulling up to the intersection.  An unknown black male exited the vehicle and fired multiple shots.  The suspect re-entered the vehicle as it fled northbound on Darlington Drive being driven by an unknown subject. 

Walker was struck and died as a result of his  injuries.

Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the unknown suspects involved in this case.  Anyone with any information regarding the identity of the suspects and who wants to be eligible for a cash reward is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477).
