Lucy Richards Of Brandon Skips Change Of Plea Hearing

Tampa, Fla. (970 WFLA )  An arrest warrant has been  issued for a Tampa-area woman accused of making threats against the south Florida dad of a Sandy Hook victim.

Fifty-seven-year-old Lucy Richards of Brandon skipped a scheduled change-of-plea hearing yesterday at the Fort Lauderdale Federal Court.

Richards was expected to change her plea from "not guilty" to "guilty" on charges that she made telephone and e-mailed threats against the father of six-year-old Noah Pozner last year.  She allegedly threatened death against Palm Beach County resident Lenny Pozner, whose son died in the 2012 Connecticut elementary school massacre, and called the shooting a hoax.

Richards now faces forfeiture of a plea deal that would've guaranteed her house arrest and she now faces prison time if convicted.
