Winter Haven, Fla. (970 WFLA) Winter Haven Police are investigating a crash at 3rd St N.W. and Lake Silver Dr.. S in Winter Haven that has shut down the road.
At approximately 2:40 a.m., a driver hit a power pole at the intersection. The driver ran away and has not been located.
Drivers who usually take S Lake Silver Dr between Hwy 17 and First St should find alternate routes.
Power has been out in the area and is expected to be out until at least 11 am.
