Deputies Find Kidnapped Valrico Woman

(Ruskin, Fla. - 970 WFLA)  A Valrico woman who had been kidnapped by her estranged husband on Saturday has been found alive.  37-year-old Alisa Summers was found in Ruskin, in the back seat of a car driven by her 39-year old Trevor Summers.

She suffered a cut to her wrist.  Trevor Summers is in custody in the hospital with a self inflicted knife wound. He's charged with kidnapping, grand theft, and violation of retraining order. More charges may be pending.

She  was last seen on Saturday night, screaming for help and being forced into an SUV with her hands bound behind her back in a Walgreens parking lot at 5605 Fishhawk Crossing Blvd. Both Trevor and Alisa Summers had injunctions against each other, following a domestic dispute last month.  They are legally separated.

Hillsborough County Sheriff's deputies believe that the woman is Alisa Summers, 37, and that her kidnapper is her estranged husband, Trevor Summers, 39. The two are married with five children, but separated and have injunctions against each other. 

Deputies say that Alisa went to Trevor's home to talk about their 17-year marriage and had not returned. Saturday at about 9 p.m. a witness saw a woman shoved into the SUV registered to Alisa Summers outside a Walgreen's on Fishhawk Crossing Blvd. 

Alisa Summers's SUV is a dark blue Saturn Outlook with a license tag number GLHM32. Deputies ask anyone who has seen the vehicle or either Trevor or Alisa Summers to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 813-247-8200.
